We've made it to Nova Scotia late this evening. It has been a long drive, but with many great stops along the way! Yesterday we toured Bar Harbor and some of Acadia which were beautiful, we spent the night at Hadley's Point Campground with a nice woodsy site. During the middle of the night there were some strong thunderstorms and we ended up with some wet gear. We hit the road at 5am on Thurs. First, we drove through the rest of Maine and up through New Brunswick. We stopped at a cute little fishing town for breakfast and then hit the road again. We stopped at Rogue Bluffs State Park to take Coy for a short walk, then back in the truck and off to the absolutely beautiful Fundy National Park to see a gorgeous waterfall, a quick lunch break for lobster and fish n'chips, then off to the scenic ride up North. Brian and I both agreed that we'd love to come back to Fundy National Park and stay. We made it into Nova Scotia by late evening in a town we both can't pronounce... "Truro". We are having a great time, excited to keep going, but exhausted at the end of each day. Brian's knee has a little sore, but overall things are great! Coy is doing well also.
We'll be in touch again soon.
